You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) original e-mail of 1/11/2018, with subject line: “REACH KIDS NEWTOWN CAR SHOW”: “…Hey you guys, I love you newsletter and have been getting it for some time now… My name is Seth Carley, and I am the chairman of the Reach Kids Newtown Car Show… A little about our track record so far: Reach Kids Newtown is a non-profit program where there is a friend for every kid and kids in crisis. It’s a program where each kid is set up with a student mentor from Newtown High School, and works after school with his/her mentor, doing homework, and understanding the struggles they may have, throughout the school year. Then, every summer, REACH has a free summer camp for kids in crisis, which brings me to why we are here to help… We have had three very successful car shows in Newtown at the great FAIRFIELD HILLS COMPLEX IN Newtown. This is the coolest place for a car show!... Our first show was in 2015, and a respectful 125 really great cars came... Our second show, September 11, 2016, we doubled our car count, 247 cars with a wonderful September 11th program honoring the people lost on that tragic day… Each year we are honored to have at noon a service with the With the Port 5 Naval Veterans. This past September 10th, 2017, we were amazed when we registered close to 300 cars at our show. How thankful we are when every year we continue to increase our number of cars... I’m so glad I gave you some insight into the Reach program. I hope someday I get to meet you and show you how this program has already changed so many kids’ lives, it’s amazing. We have a date—Save The Date: Sunday, September 9th, 2018. Sure hope you guys can come and see a great show. I will try to keep you up-to-date.
