Join us for our first Meetup of 2019 - we will be celebrating the "Marque of the Month" - the Ford Thunderbird!.
Why pick the T-Bird??
Well, founded in 1903, Ford Motor Co. was able to begin producing more than one million cars per year after the introduction of the moving assembly line in 1913. Just 55 years after the company’s beginning, the 50 millionth Ford rolled off the assembly line on March 16th in 1958. That car was a 1958 Thunderbird.
We will gather at the shop, Cardone & Daughter Auto, 4 Custom Drive, Old Saybrook, starting at 9:00 am for coffee, donuts and discussion of the iconic T-Bird. Anyone wishing to bring Thunderbird memorabilia along to share is encouraged to do so, but not a necessity. The plan is to meet, greet and socialize. Coffee and Donuts are free to all attendees.
